10 Seater Car For Traveling

Author: |

It is hard to decide which car is the best for traveling long distances. Some might consider luxury sedans like the Mercedes S-Class but cars like the S-Class are not affordable and their maintenance cost is so high.

Small and very cheap cars, on the other hand, aren’t suitable for traveling as they don't have much cargo space, and usually because of their simple suspension system the ride quality can be tiring at long distances.

Here there is a list of 10 suitable cars for traveling.

1. Toyota Venza

Toyota Venza

The second-generation Venza, which will be available in North America for the 2021 model year, is a rebadged XU80 series Harrier from the Japanese market. The Venza is only offered with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder hybrid powertrain in the North American market. Even though the Venza is not a plug-in hybrid vehicle, the engine offers exceptional fuel efficiency while producing about 220 horsepower. Numerous safety and technological features are also standard on the Toyota Venza. The front seats of the Venza are heated and cooled, giving its occupants a suitable level of comfort. The Venza is able to travel up to 2 or 3 miles in an electric-only driving mode which is not surprising for a hybrid vehicle.

2. Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

Mitsubishi Outlander

Mitsubishi Outlander is built based on the latest generation of Nissan X-trail (known as Rouge in America). With a more potent motor and a larger 20 kWh battery, the plug-in hybrid version of the Outlander PHEV uses the same engine as the previous generation model. This results in an increase in power output for both the front and rear motors, which together provide a combined total driving range of 87 km in electric-only mode.

The engine had a rating of 226-232 Nm and 168 horsepower @ 6000 rpm. The Outlander is a specious car as well and you can count on its utility capabilities.

3. Subaru Outback

Subaru Outback

Subaru Outback is a raised version of the Legacy station wagon. Beginning in 2021, the sixth-generation Outback was sold outside of North America.

The 2.4 liters turbocharged FA24F flat four featured on XT models, which produces 260 hp at 5,600 rpm, and the 2.5-liter FB25D flat-four that is found in the most recent Outback, both make 182 horsepower at 5,800 revolutions per minute.

The engine is coupled to an 8-speed sequential CVT that uses symmetrical all-wheel drive to distribute power to all 4 wheels. Unlike many crossovers, the Outback's 4WD system is exceptionally strong, and we can confidently assert that the Outback has the greatest traction control system in its class.

Subaru Outback comes with tons of standard safety and driving assistance systems in order to improve both comfort and safety.

4. Nissan Pathfinder

Nissan Pathfinder

In 2021, the fifth-generation Pathfinder made its debut. The 3.5-liter V6 engine in the Pathfinder produces 284 horsepower and 351 Nm of torque. The most recent edition also adds a brand-new 9-speed automatic transmission from ZF to replace the CVT. A new terrain-management system called Intelligent 4x4 with seven management settings is also available for the fifth-generation Pathfinder. Nissan's active safety package, Safety Shield 360, also comes standard with trailer sway control.

In summary, the Pathfinder can provide excellent interior, build, and riding quality in addition to adventure design.

5. Chevrolet Suburban

Chevrolet Suburban

Chevy Suburban's newest generation is built on the same GMT T1XX platform as the Silverado 1500. The Suburban has more interior space than any other vehicle on the list. The Suburban, like its GMS Yukon sibling, is one of the few SUVs on the market with a large load area even when the third-row seats are folded up and functional.

For the first time, the Suburban offered a Duramax diesel engine with 277 horsepower and 624 Nm of torque as an option. The Suburban is equipped with a 5.3-liter V-8 as standard, a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V-8 as an option, and a 10-speed automatic transmission as standard across the lineup.

The Suburban was given an overall NHTSA safety rating of four stars.

6. Hyundai Santa Cruz

Hyundai Santa Cruz

Hyundai Santa Cruz and Honda Ridgeline are your two options if you want to travel with your rugged motorcycle, ATV, or jet ski but don't want to deal with the rough ride of pickup trucks.

Unlike other pickup trucks, the Hyundai Santa Cruz sports a unibody chassis construction instead of a ladder frame. The pickup truck now has a superior ride quality that is more comparable to crossovers like the Hyundai Santafe.

Both the regular 2.5-liter 4-cylinder direct injection gasoline engine, which makes 191 horsepower and 245 pound-feet of torque, and the 2.5-liter turbocharged engine, which makes 281 horsepower and 422 pound-feet of torque, are available for the Hyundai Santa Cruz.

7. Mercedes-Benz GLB

Mercedes-Benz GLB

The Mercedes-Benz GLB is a compact luxury crossover that sits between the GLA and GLC classes. The GLB's front-wheel-drive chassis enabled it to provide adequate interior space as well as good fuel economy. The GLB features a practical boot and can seat up to seven passengers thanks to its boxy form.

It is only available with 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, but it also has a plug-in hybrid and a fully electric variant known as the EQB.

8. Audi A6 Avant

Audi A6

The Audi A6 Avant is one of the greatest options on the market for station wagons, which are quite popular in Europe. The A6 is unique because it can be equipped with a variety of engines, ranging from a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder to a 4.0-liter V8, despite its excellent build and ride quality.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate and BMW 5-Series station wagon are its major rivals.

9. Toyota Sequoia

Sequoia

The Toyota Sequoia is the equivalent of the Chevrolet Tahoe and Cadillac Escalade in Japan. A new vehicle constructed on the TNGA platform is Sequoia's most recent iteration. The new model sports a smaller but more potent hybrid V6 engine, in contrast to the previous generation's thirsty 5.7-liter V8 engine. The Toyota Sequoia is a spacious, reliable, and comfortable vehicle.

10. Honda Pilot

Honda Pilot

2015 saw the launch of the third-generation 2016 Pilot. It is Honda's largest crossover and includes many safety technologies, including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), and Forward Collision Warning (FCW) with Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS).

The 3.5-liter V6 engine of the Honda Pilot produces 280 horsepower. The Honda Pilot is one of the greatest vehicles for traveling and boasts remarkable fuel efficiency.
