BMW announced that the facelifted BMW M5 will be available in Australia soon. The facelifted BMW M5 Competition was recently revealed based on the updated BMW 5-series G30 generation. It features some design tricks on the headlights, taillights and bumpers.
Inside the cabin the infotainment system comes with a 12.3-inch touch screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The new M5 also features an updated center console, carbon roof, 16-speaker sound system and new leather upholstery.
BMW made no changes in the powertrain so we still see a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 617 hp (25 hp more than a regular M5) and 750 NM of torque. Power transfers to all wheels with an 8-speed automatic transmission. BMW M5 Competition can hit 100 kph in 3.3 seconds.
The pricing for the M5 Competition starts from AU$244,000 which is equal to US$172,177.
