Just ahead of the official debut, 2021 BMW M5 revealed on social media. The new M5 will be built on the facelifted version of the BMW 5-Series and follows a same design language. Styling changes include new headlights with integrated daytime running lights, new air intakes and sporty bumpers.
Unfortunately, the released picture only shows the front facia of 2021 M5 so for interior and rear end changes we should wait till the official debut on later this week.
Changes reported for cabin include a new sport steering wheel, refined driver assistance systems, and a new infotainment system with Android Auto function.
The power provided by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine which can produce 592 hp and 750 nm of torque. Power planet paired with an 8-speed torque converter transmission which then direct the power to both axles via xDrive All-wheel drive system. 2021 M5 benefits an Active M Differential as well.
2021 BMW M5 can accelerate 0-100 kph in 3.4 seconds and able to touch top speed of 305 kph.
For those who are looking for a more powerful version, M Power will make the M5 Competition with a 617 hp engine. Despite a higher power output, the torque is unchanged at 750 nm which is still a big number for a family sedan. That extra power for M5 Competition can enable the model to hit 100 kph in just 3.3 seconds.
