Dacia released a detail of the all-new Sandero and Logan models for 2021 model year. The new Dacia Logan and Dacia Sandero will be built on the CMF architecture which is shared with some other Renault products. The new architecture and platform means that the Sandero will also benefit new engine options and safety features.
The new Sandero as the most popular Dacia B-segment car in the European market not only has a new design outside and inside but it is also has lower roofline by 10 mm.
A crossover style Dacia Sandero Stepway also has a 41 mm higher ride and benefits roof rack, plastic cover on the wheel arches and door handles, and a metal skid plate at the front and rear. Dacia also decided to increase Logan’s length by extend it wheelbase by 36 mm.
Inside the cabin all Dacia models (Sandero, Sandero Stepway, and Logan) have a new interior with better quality and materials compared to the previous models.
Biggest highlights inside the cabin are new Media Control/Media Display/Media Nav infotainment systems,automatic headlight, speed limiter, cruise control, cruise control buttons on the steering wheel, automatic air conditioning with digital display, electric parking brake, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, automatic windscreen wipers, Heated front seats, 8-inch touchscreens, and new seats. Dacia also increased the trunk space of the Logan by 18 liters and now it offers 528 liter of boot space.
Dacia revised the technical parts of the Sandero and Logan as well and the cars are not available with diesel engines anymore but buyers can choose between petrol and LPG bi-fuel engines.
The first engine is a naturally aspirated 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. The next engine is a turbocharged version of the first one and will be available with 6-speed of automatic CVT transmissions. The Eco-G 100 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine will be also available with 6-speed manual transmission.
Emergency Brake Assist, Call emergency call system, blind spot warning, park assist, and hill start assist are some new safety features that are available on the 2021 Dacia Sandero and Logan.
