Genesis has launched the new G80 in Australia with a base price of AU$84,900 which is equal to US$60k. Australian buyers can get their Genesis with a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pumps out 300 ho and 422 nm of torque. This engine is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels.
Buyers who want more power can go for the Genesis G80 3.5T AWD that has a 3.5-liter twin0turbocharged V6 engine with 379 hp and 530 nm of torque. This model exclusively comes standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.
While the base models G80 2.5T comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, a panoramic sunroof, power trunk, genuine leather interior, wood trim inside, and a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the flagship G80 3.5T adds Adaptive Control Suspension with advanced Road Preview technology, as well as five-spoke 20-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tire to its standard equipment list.
Standard safety equipment list for the base model includes a multi-function Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system, Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance-Assist, Driver Attention Warning, and a Surround View Monitor with 3D function.
