GMC has introduced a new variant of the canyon called Canyon AT4 earlier this year with some extra goodies for off-road and now the automaker introduced another model known as the 2021 GMC Canyon AT4 Performance Edition. The new odd-road focused model benefits from new 17-inch alloy wheels, black exhaust tip, carbon black AT4 badges, lift kit for suspension, front air dam, and Goodyear Wrangler tires.
Other highlights are heavy-duty skid plates with 4mm thick, heavy0duty floor mats, off-road suspension, and automatic locking rear differential. there is also a transfer case shield to protect the transfer case.
GMC didn't change anything under the hood and the GMC Canyon AT4 Performance Edition still uses a 3.6-liter V6 with 308 hp and 373 nm of torque. There is also a 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel option that pumps out 181 hp and 500 nm of torque.
Pricing for GMC Canyon AT4 Performance Edition starts from $39,395 for the V6 version and $45,570 for the diesel variant.
