Nissan introduced its latest compact crossover called Magnite. With a length of less than 4 m, Magnite is the smallest crossover on the automaker’s lineup. Nissan Magnite especially designed for the Indian market but the company wants to sell it in other markets as well.
In terms of design, the main highlights to mention are the big grill, daytime running lights, the lower section of the front bumper, front integrated skid plate, rear diffuser, and new design for headlights and tail lights.
Inside the cabin, there are also hexagonal events multifunction steering wheel, an 8-inch infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and push start button.
Inside the instrument cluster, there's a 7-in TFT display. Other features are electric windows, Hill-start assist, 360 degree around view monitor, cruise control, and automatic climate control system.
Under the hood, there's a new turbocharged 1-liter engine with 95 horsepower connected to an automatic CVT transmission. Nissan also wants to install a 1-liter naturally aspirated engine on Magnite with 7 horsepower and with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Nissan Magnite s is built on the CMFA platform which is shared with some of Renault products like a driver.
