There is something interesting about Porsche. The German brand listens to its fans and enthusiast customers. More importantly, it takes their ideas and suggestions into account. At least that’s what Andreas Preuninger, the head of the new 2021 Porsche 911 GT3 developer team, does!
Since the 2021 Porsche 911 GT3’s prototype is always buried under heavy camouflage, we don’t know anything about the exact looks. Apparently, this 2021 model is going to look cleaner and sleeker than any other Porsche car ever made. The front air inlets sit lower which makes you feel like you are looking at a jet engine. To bring a more aerodynamic feature and look to the body, the designers have decided to put the rear wing on the top although it makes the appearance a bit odd.
According to the source, inside the cabin we will get to see a whole new instrument cluster. Unlike the usual 922, the 2021 Porsche 911 GT3 will provide the driver with a special GT mode which puts all the critical information to the right and left of the central analog display.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat six engine. This super powerful system is supposed to generate 500 horsepower. The engine is not going to be alone, as it is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. You can get a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic gearbox, too. Apparently, if you are not happy with manual version, you can turn it off completely.
The chassis has a new form of multilink front suspension. The 2021 Porsche 911 GT3 is going to be as light as possible, so there is no electronically controlled engine mount available on this car.
