Renault has officially revealed the new generation of Trafic in two variants called Combi and SpaceClass. The new Trafic features a new front facia with revised headlights with C-shaped DRLs just like other Renault products, a new grille, a new set of 17-inch wheels, new side mirrors with electronic folding function, and six new exterior paints.
Inside the cabin the new Trafic features a redesigned dashboard, new infotainment system with 8-inch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging pad, physical controller for HVAC, a new three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and etc.
The safety gears include active inter-city emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning system, adaptive cruise control, and a new front airbag that covers two passengers.
Under the hood, the 2021 Renault Trafic features a dCi diesel engine with three different outputs (108 hp, 148 hp, and 168 hp). All models come standard with Stop&Start technology. The first two engines are connected to a 6-speed manual transmission but the last one comes standard with a 6-speed DCT, although the DCT gearbox is available as an extra-cost option for the first two.
Renault hasn't released pricing detail for the 2021 Trafic but the car will hit the market by the next March.
