Toyota Hilux fans can order their 2021 model Toyota Hilux from September 1 in the U.K.
The base model called the Hilux Invincible uses a 2.4-liter turbo diesel engine with 148 hp and 400 nm of torque. This engine is connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard but buyers can order a 6-speed automatic transmission by paying extra $1,965. The pricing for the base Hilux starts from $45,746.
There is another model of Hilux with more powerful 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine that can pump out 201 hp and 500 nm of torque. Pricing for this version starts from $46,368 and it comes standard with an automatic transmission.
The 2.8-liter version benefits 18-inch alloy wheels. Rear parking sensors, LED lights, keyless entry and start, climate control system, heated front seats and de-icing system for the windshield wipers.
A grade higher called Toyota Hilux Invincible X offers more features like matte grey skid plates, side steps, door handles and fenders, dark leather interior, powered driver seat, sat-nav and ambient lighting.
The Invincible X trim comes standard with a 2.-liter with manual or automatic transmission. Pricing starts from $51,051.
On the safety side, Toyota armed its popular pickup with Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance package as standard on all trims. Other features include an 8-inch infotainment screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear tinted glass, LED front fog lamps, a rearview camera, limited-slip differential and power-folding side mirrors.
