2022 MX-30, The Cheapest Mazda To Lease

Author: |

In terms of vehicle range, the Mazda MX-30 falls short. The MX-30 has the shortest range of any 2022 all-electric car on the market, covering only 100 miles on a single charge, but what it lacks in driving range may be compensated for by its purchase value.

The MX-30 is currently the cheapest Mazda to lease, according to the website CarsDirect.

The lease price for the MX-30 for the 2022 model year is $279 per month for 36 months, with a $2,999 down payment. This corresponds to a $362 effective monthly cost, which beats the Mazda CX-30's $366 effective monthly cost.

The deal will expire on November 1st, and it is only available in California, where the all-electric Mazda will be available until next year.

The MX-30's worth is heavily influenced by its price. The basic price of the compact crossover EV is $33,470. With the above-mentioned incentives, the price may be as low as $23,645, including destination costs.

The question of whether it is cheaper to lease or buy the MX-30 remains unanswered. It's unclear if Mazda will pass on the entire $7,500 federal tax benefit to MX-30 leaseholders.
