Renault Samsung revealed some official photos of its new mid-size design known as the Renault Samsung SM6 for the Korean domestic market. The car as you all can guess shares many components with Renault Talisman. Actually, Renault Samsung SM6 and Renault Talisman are the same cars and they are only different in some details.
Renault Samsung SM6 is basically based on the Talisman and the main difference is in the grille where there is no Renault logo anymore. The LED DRLs are also C-shaped and extended the bumper.
As the platform is also shared with the Talisman it measures exactly the same 4850/1870/1460mm in size. With a wheelbase of 2810mm we can ensure that passengers wouldn’t complain about legroom in Renault Samsung SM6.
Shared design with Renault Talisman continuous inside the cabin where Renault Samsung SM6 uses the same interior with the latest Talisman. The main element inside the cabin is a portrait touchscreen on the dash where most of the interior features like infotainment, navigation and etc are controlled. Renault Samsung SM6 also features a digital instrument cluster with a customizable screen.
Other highlights inside the cabin are heated and ventilated front seats, leather seats, multifunction leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, electric parking brake, AutoHold, and automatic dual-zone climate control system.
Renault Samsung SM6 is available with three engine options including 2.0GDe with 150 hp, 1.6TCe with 190 hp, and 2.0LPe with 140 hp. Power sent to the front wheels with either a 6-speed Manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.
