2023 BYD Dolphin Launched In China

The first vehicle based on the third-generation modular electric platform (e3.0), which was introduced in the summer of 2021, is the BYD Delfin compact hatchback. The electrical system in this car is 800 volts, among other innovations. In just 18 months, the BYD company was able to sell about 230,000 Dolphin devices in China, where Dolphin generated a lot of buzzes. Every month, about 25,000 people apply for this product. However, BYD has chosen to update its well-liked electric vehicle.

The new Dolphin version has undergone a lot of aesthetic changes. The rear door glass now has a wiper, the front bumper and rims have new designs, and there are now more body color options.

Among the upgraded features in the new Delphin is the split back of the rear row seat and the addition of an armrest in the middle of the seats, heating for the front row seats, electrification for the passenger seat, a 12.8-inch infotainment display, and automatic power windows.

The BYD Dolphin has a 44.9 kWh battery in every new version. The model, which has a basic engine with 95 horsepower and 180 Nm of torque, has a calibrated control program, so when its battery is fully charged, it can travel 420 km. The most potent engine, on the other hand, can travel 401 km on a full charge of the battery and generate 177 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque.

The older BYD Dolphin models cost between $14,700 and $8,000,000. In contrast, the more recent models cost between $16,800 and $9,000,000.
