The 2023 Mondeo ST-Line has been announced by Ford for the Chinese market. Following the release of the ordinary version last month, we now get the opportunity to see the sporty ST-Line option.
When compared to the standard Mondeo, the sportier ST variant sports distinct front and rear bumpers. We can see a new grille mesh and glossy-black pieces linking the extra lighting on the bumper to the lower intake at the front.
A bigger diffuser and a black spoiler lip can be found on the rear bumper.
Other notable features include a black roof and 9-inch alloy wheels.
The enormous 43-inch dashboard panel that debuted in the Ford Evos last year is carried over to the 2023 Mondeo ST-Line.
It has a standard 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster as well as a large 27-inch SYNC+ 2.0 infotainment touchscreen with 4K resolution. The latter makes use of Baidu's AI technologies. The ST-Line package adds sport seats, red accents, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and the ST emblem on the dashboard.
The Mondeo ST-Line is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine producing 235 horsepower and coupled to an eight-speed automated transmission.
Changan Ford is already producing the 2023 Ford Mondeo in China, with the first models reaching local showrooms. The redesigned Mondeo may have replaced the Fusion in North America, but Ford opted to discontinue all sedans there.
