Nissan recently revealed the X-Trail e-Power hybrid in Japanese specification, and now the company has shown off customized versions of the midsize SUV. These include the tough factory-specified X trim, the classy Autech, as well as a variety of Nismo Parts.
Let's start with the X-Trail X, which differs from the standard X-Trail in several ways, including the 18-inch aluminum wheels with 235/60R18 tires that are version-specific, the front and rear skid plates, the grille, door handles, mirror caps, and roof rails that are painted in black. Nissan equipped the interior of the SUV with Cell-Cloth upholstery, which repels water, allowing passengers to enter the SUV wearing wet clothes on rainy days or after swimming.
Now let's talk about the luxurious and sporty Nissan X-Trail by Autech. The distinctive chrome-infused grille, additional LEDs on the front bumper, more noticeable aluminum-style skidplates, side-sill additions, matching mirrors, and roof rails set the X-Trail Autech apart from other models. Another feature is the standard 20-inch aluminum wheels with 255/45R20 Michelin Primacy 4 tires, which improve handling while enhancing the SUV's proportions.
The seats' interior features quilted leather upholstery with blue stitching for a more upscale appearance. The center console, door cards, and dashboard all include copper-style accents along with leather. Along with all of the available comfort and safety amenities, the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 12.3-inch Nissan Connect touchscreen, and 10.8-inch head-up display come as standard equipment.
The vehicle used for the presentation featured a black roof and a deep blue exterior, but it is available in seven different body colors, including three that are only available from Autech.
A variety of Nismo Parts are available for the X-Trail. Black 19-inch alloy wheels, a prominent front splitter, a Nismo tailgate protector, special stickers for the shark-fin antenna and the extensions of the rear spoiler, mirrors with a hydrophobic coating, stickers for the interior's trim in the style of carbon fiber, and a Nismo exhaust with dual pipes are a few of these modifications. It's unusual to see such a sporty exhaust system on a hybrid car.
The Nissan X-Trail X starts at $29,916, while the X-Trail Autech costs more and ranges from $31,118 to 36,562. Nismo Parts are also available as individual components.
