On May 1st, Chery unveiled its latest offerings, three variants of the 2024 Tiggo 7 SUV, priced between $10,300 and $13,400. This new iteration, characterized as a facelift model, boasts enhancements in both interior aesthetics and functional configurations.
Measuring 4500/1842/1746 mm, with a wheelbase of 2670 mm, the 2024 Chery Tiggo 7 maintains its familiar size. While the exterior retains its overall appearance, subtle alterations are evident, notably in the front grille, now adorned with a plethora of chrome matrix dots, albeit with slight changes in shape. The rear design remains consistent with its dual exhaust outlets and through-type taillights. Available color options include Pearl White, Obsidian Black, and Quantum Gray. The side profile remains largely unchanged, save for upgraded rims from black to silver, now available in either 17-inch or 18-inch sizes, with tire specifications of 225/65 R17 and 225/60 R18.
Incorporating an exterior camera and three ultrasonic radars, the 2024 Tiggo 7 introduces advanced driving assistance features such as anti-lock braking, emergency braking, and precise calibration services.
Internally, the most notable addition is the 24.6-inch dual screen, accompanied by a new dark brown interior theme. Featuring a flat-bottom design, the steering wheel complements the 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central control screen.
In terms of configurations, the top-tier trim now includes 360-degree high-definition imagery and front seat heating. Leather seats, electric air conditioning, keyless entry/start, and a 6-speaker audio system are now standard. Chery also asserts a reduction in NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) levels.
Continuing its legacy, the 2024 Tiggo 7 retains its powertrain options in the form of 1.5T+6MT and 1.5T+9CVT configurations, ensuring a seamless blend of performance and efficiency. With an engine capable of delivering a maximum power output of 156 hp and a peak torque of 230 Nm, drivers can expect responsive acceleration and smooth cruising on various terrains.
Furthermore, Chery has focused on refining the driving experience by enhancing suspension dynamics and tuning, resulting in improved handling and ride comfort. Coupled with advancements in chassis technology, the Tiggo 7 maintains stability and agility, offering drivers confidence behind the wheel.
