For the 2022 model year, the current-generation Chevy Silverado underwent a mid-cycle facelift. With its launch, the company gave the car a new look, upgraded the inside technologies, and launched the off-road ZR2 model. A 3.0-liter Duramax engine will be available for the truck in 2024.
The inline-six engine has a ten-speed automated transmission and a standard four-wheel drive system. It generates 305 horsepower and 670 Nm of torque.

The Duramax in the ZR2 isn't the only powertrain upgrade for the Silverado in 2024. The high-output 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine in the truck will be referred to by Chevy as the TurboMax engine. In the pickup, it produces 420 lb-ft of torque and 310 horsepower.
The 5.3-liter V8, which generates 355 horsepower and 519 Nm of torque, hasn't undergone any alterations, according to the manufacturer. The 6.2-liter V8-equipped vehicles will have an active dual exhaust system.
Lakeshore Blue Metallic and Slate Gray Metallic are the two new exterior colors Chevy will offer for the 2024 Silverado. The 6.2-liter V8 will have active dual exhaust with Performance mode, and the truck will include a rear seatbelt indicator.
The opulent Silverado High Country now offers a new Midnight Edition and comes standard with adaptive cruise control. The latter features innovative LED-lit power-retractable black side steps. The base Silverado WT now includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as OnStar.
Chevrolet has not released pricing information for the 2024 Silverado.
