At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Genesis unveiled the 2025 GV80 and GV80 Coupe. Today, they have unveiled the redesigned G80 in Korea.
The refreshed sedan, which is instantly recognizable, embraces the concept of "Athletic Elegance" and features a redesigned grille with split lighting units that use micro lens array technology on either side. 20-inch wheels and a more aggressive front bumper are also visible.
The car's rear end receives more styling upgrades with a new bumper and a hidden exhaust. Additionally, Genesis announced that the model will come in ten colors, including a brand-new shade known as Brooklyn Brown.
In addition to the standard model, Genesis displayed the facelifted G80 Sport. It has a distinct front bumper with aggressive intakes. The vehicle also appears to have a dual exhaust system with V-shaped accents.
Inside, the G80 has a new 27-inch OLED display that combines a digital instrument cluster with an infotainment system, which is one of the most noticeable changes. It replaces previous displays measuring 12.3 and 14.5 inches. Revised trim and a redesigned center stack with new switchgear join them.
Up to 375 horsepower is available in 2.5- and 3.5-liter engines in the current model. There is also an electric version with a 454 km range offered by the company. Price and release date details will become clearer later this month, though.
