Nissan has made significant updates to its Armada SUV for the 2025 model year, introducing a refreshed design, a new powertrain, and cutting-edge technology. Despite these advancements, the automaker has managed to maintain the starting price of the Armada at the same level as the previous model year while also broadening its range of trim options.
The 2025 Armada is now powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, which delivers an impressive 425 horsepower and 699 Nm of torque. This marks a substantial improvement in performance compared to the outgoing V8 engine, even though the new V6 has two fewer cylinders. A nine-speed automatic transmission complements the engine, channeling power to either the rear wheels (4×2) or all four wheels (4×4), depending on the chosen configuration. Additionally, the Armada retains its durable ladder-frame architecture, ensuring it continues to excel as a rugged and capable SUV.
Pricing for the 2025 Armada starts at $58,530 for the entry-level SV 4×2 model, which matches the price of the 2024 equivalent. This price includes a $2,010 destination fee. However, price increases can be observed in other trims. For example, the SL 4×2 and Platinum models see price hikes of $2,630 and $1,340, respectively, over their 2024 counterparts.
The lineup for 2025 also introduces exciting new trims, including the adventure-focused Nissan Pro-4X. Priced at $75,750, this trim is equipped with a variety of off-road enhancements such as 20-inch all-terrain tires, a metal skid plate, an adaptive air suspension, and an electronic locking differential. It also features a ride height that is 2.1 inches taller than the standard model, offering 9.6 inches of ground clearance for tackling challenging terrains.
At the top of the range sits the Platinum Reserve trim, which elevates the Armada’s luxury appeal. Starting at $82,000, this premium trim boasts 22-inch wheels, massaging seats, an adaptive air suspension, and an array of high-end features designed to enhance comfort and sophistication.
The redesigned 2025 Nissan Armada is set to arrive in dealerships in December, offering a compelling mix of performance, ruggedness, and luxury across its expanded trim lineup. With its updated features and competitive pricing, the Armada aims to remain a strong contender in the full-size SUV market.
