For the 2025 model year, Nissan made only minimal updates to the Pathfinder, yet the company still decided to raise prices across the entire lineup. The price increases, however, are modest and likely won’t significantly impact the decision-making process for new car buyers.
As with the previous year, the base model remains the Pathfinder S 2WD. This version now starts at $37,070, which is a small increase from the previous starting price of $36,650. The rest of the two-wheel-drive lineup includes the SV, SL, and Platinum trims. These trims are now priced at $40,060, $43,260, and $49,810, respectively, each reflecting a small bump from last year's pricing of $39,470, $43,070, and $49,620. Although these price changes are not drastic, they may be noticeable to buyers writing the final check.
Under the hood, the 2025 Pathfinder remains unchanged, powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 284 horsepower and 351 Nm of torque. However, the off-road-focused Rock Creek trim gets a slight boost in power due to optimized fuel mapping, allowing it to produce 295 horsepower and 366 Nm of torque. While this increase is not substantial, it provides a little extra capability for off-road enthusiasts who seek more power when navigating rough terrain.
For those interested in four-wheel drive, Nissan offers five different options in this category. The entry-level Pathfinder S 4WD starts at $39,070, which is a minor increase from last year’s price of $38,550. The SV 4WD and SL 4WD trims are priced at $42,060 and $45,260, respectively, compared to $41,370 and $44,970 from the previous model year. At the top of the standard range is the Pathfinder Platinum 4WD, which is now priced at $51,810, up slightly from $51,520 in 2024. The Rock Creek 4WD remains the most off-road capable version of the Pathfinder, now priced at $45,160 compared to last year’s starting price of $44,470.
Only two updates were introduced in the 2025 model year. The first is a standard power liftgate for both the SV and Rock Creek trims, enhancing convenience for drivers who frequently load and unload cargo. The second update is the addition of Nissan Maintenance Care as a standard feature on all 2025 Pathfinders. This service includes up to three scheduled oil changes for the first two years or 24,000 miles, giving owners some added peace of mind regarding routine maintenance.
Finally, the 2025 Pathfinder offers a range of optional features for those looking to customize their vehicle. Premium paint can be added for $425, while LED fog lights cost an additional $350. The Black Appearance Package is available for $485, splash guards for $255, running boards for $745, and a cargo package for $355. With these options, buyers can tailor the Pathfinder to suit their tastes and needs—though these extras will undoubtedly be appreciated by the dealership as well.
