To achieve this lower price point, the LE trim comes with a more basic level of equipment compared to higher trims. It features a power liftgate, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated power mirrors with blind spot monitoring, and a fabric interior with eight seats. Inside, the LE trim includes a 7-inch multi-information display, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a six-speaker audio system, tri-zone climate control, an eight-way power driver's seat, and the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite of advanced driver-assistance systems.

For those seeking a sportier and more distinctive look, the new Hybrid Nightshade Edition is an attractive option. Based on the Hybrid Limited trim, the Nightshade Edition starts at $52,610 and features a variety of blacked-out exterior accents, including a black hood, black bumpers, black 20-inch wheels, black spoiler, black mirror caps, and black door handles. The dark theme continues inside with black leather seats and matte gray metallic accents.

Under the hood, the LE trim comes standard with a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 265 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive is available as an optional extra. For those seeking better fuel economy, a hybrid variant is also available, starting at $44,210. The hybrid powertrain combines a 2.5-liter engine with a small battery pack and a rear-mounted electric motor to provide all-wheel drive. While the hybrid system offers lower horsepower, it delivers impressive fuel economy ratings of 36 mpg city, 32 mpg highway, and 34 mpg combined.
