Abarth, the Italian performance brand, has unveiled its first-ever electric crossover, the 600e. This high-performance EV comes in two flavors: the standard Turismo and the limited-edition Scorpionissima, offering 237 hp and 278 hp, respectively. The Scorpionissima, limited to 1,949 units, pays homage to the brand's founding year.

To differentiate itself from its Fiat sibling, the 600e sports a unique, aggressive design. The deeper front and rear bumpers, 20-inch alloy wheels, and prominent rear spoiler give it a menacing stance. The squared-off design of the bumpers draws inspiration from the classic Abarth 850 TC "cassettone." A range of striking colors, including Acid Green, Hypnotic Purple, Antidote White, Shock Orange, and Venom Black, further accentuates the 600e's sporty character.

Inside, the 600e features Sabelt bucket seats with integrated headrests, providing exceptional support and a sporty feel. The Scorpionissima, in particular, boasts Alcantara upholstery for a premium touch. A 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Abarth-specific graphics, ChatGPT integration, and Level 2 ADAS complete the interior.

The 600e's performance is equally impressive. The Scorpionissima, with its 278 hp electric motor, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.85 seconds. The Turismo, with 237 hp, completes the same sprint in 6.24 seconds. Both models have an electronically limited top speed of 200 km/h.

The 600e benefits from a range of performance-enhancing features, including Alcon brakes, a stiffer suspension, a rear anti-roll bar, and wider tracks. The 54 kWh battery pack, specifically tuned for performance, delivers a range of 334 km on the WLTP cycle.

The Abarth 600e represents a significant step forward for the brand, combining electric power with the iconic Abarth performance DNA. With its aggressive styling, powerful performance, and advanced technology, the 600e is set to captivate enthusiasts and redefine the electric performance car segment.
