Aito, the joint venture between Huawei and Seres, has launched the five-seater version of its flagship M9 SUV. Available in both extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) configurations, the five-seater M9 offers a luxurious and technologically advanced driving experience.

Priced between $66,000 and $80,050, the five-seater M9 retains the distinctive design of its six-seater counterpart. The car features an intelligent lighting system with adaptive matrix headlights, intelligent projection headlights, adaptive low beams, skyline position lights, and intelligent interactive matrix headlights. The Huawei X Pixel Smart projection headlights offer unique features like the "Phoenix Dance Nine Days" intelligent welcome animation, VPD parking light language, and ultra-near-field projection.

While the exterior dimensions remain unchanged at 5230, 1999, and 1800 (l/w/h) with a 3110 wheelbase, the interior has been modified to accommodate the five-seat configuration. Buyers can choose from five interior colors, including two new options: Amber Brown and Truffle Brown. The car features Nappa leather upholstery, suede headlining, and a crystal knob gear lever.

Like the six-seater version, the five-seater M9 boasts a three-screen layout, consisting of a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central infotainment screen, and a 16-inch passenger entertainment screen. The Harmony OS enables multi-screen linkage, allowing users to seamlessly switch audio and video content between different screens. Additionally, the car offers an 8-liter heated and cooled storage box.

The Aito M9 is equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 3.0 system, providing advanced driver assistance features and intelligent driving capabilities. The Harmony OS 4-powered intelligent cockpit further enhances the overall user experience.

The trunk floor space measures 1167 by 1237 mm, offering a storage capacity of 637 liters. With the second-row seats folded down, the storage capacity expands to 1105 liters. The trunk floor features rails that can accommodate various storage options, including chairs with a dividing table, loading trays, and storage boxes.

The powertrain remains unchanged from the six-seater version. The EREV version utilizes a 1.5 turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 112 kW, combined with a 165 kW electric motor on the front axle and a 200 kW motor on the rear axle. The BEV version features a 160 kW motor on the front axle and a 230 kW motor on the rear axle.

The battery capacity for the EREV is 42 kWh, while the BEV has a 100 kWh battery. These capacities are identical to the six-seater version, resulting in an all-electric range of 175 km for the EREV and 630 km for the BEV.
