Audi has finally revealed the North American specifications for the 2025 A3 facelift. In a surprising move, Audi has decided to discontinue the front-wheel-drive option, making the A3 exclusively available with Quattro all-wheel drive in the United States.

While the European market offers both sedan and Sportback body styles, the American market will only receive the sedan. The 2025 A3 comes standard with 17-inch V-spoke wheels, but 18-inch five-double-spoke alloys with a two-tone finish are available as an option. Audi has also introduced four new exterior colors: Arkona White, Arrow Gray pearl effect, Progressive Red metallic, and District Green metallic.

Inside, the 2025 A3 features a modern and tech-savvy interior. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen are standard, along with ambient lighting. The base model includes two USB-C ports in the front and two more in the back, as well as a three-spoke, leather-wrapped steering wheel. The S3 trim level adds features like dual-zone automatic climate control, contour lighting, stainless steel pedals, a black headliner, and illuminated door sills. Notably, the S3 now benefits from the RS3's rear torque splitter, enhancing its handling and performance.

Under the hood, the A3 retains its turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine. However, Audi has increased the torque output to 236 pound-feet, up from 221 pound-feet in the previous model. While the horsepower remains unchanged at 201 hp, the extra torque translates to improved acceleration. Audi claims that the 2025 A3 is now 0.3 seconds quicker to 60 mph than its predecessor, reaching 60 mph in just six seconds. The S3, on the other hand, accelerates to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, thanks to a power boost of 22 hp to a total of 328 hp. The S3 also maintains its 295 lb-ft of torque.

2025 Audi A3 Facelift

The 2025 Audi A3 Quattro starts at $39,495 for the Premium trim level, which is $600 more expensive than last year's all-wheel-drive model. The S3 is priced at $49,995, an increase of $1,500. While there's no official word on the RS3 yet, it's expected to arrive in the United States later this year. Given the recent European debut of the five-cylinder RS3 model, we can anticipate a slightly higher price tag compared to its predecessor, likely starting around $63,395 before options.
