Chinese buyers will receive an extended version of the Audi A3 in the near future. The extended wheelbase A3 will be called A3L and right now it is only a prototype pre-production model. As the automaker hasn't released the car officially we don't know how much it is longer than the regular A3.
Audi recently revealed the latest generation of the A3 with sportier look and extra features. The latest A3 benefits LED headlights with new DRLs. the taillights are also new and sleeker than before.
Inside the cabin there are 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch infotainment screen. In other markets rather than China the digital instrument cluster is 12.3-inch.
While the A3 is available with different engines in Europe but in China there is only one powertrain option and that is 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 148 hp, mated to a 7-speed DCT transmission.
