The latest tuning kit for the BMW X5 M from German tuner Hamann GmbH includes a number of aesthetic changes that make the performance-oriented SUV stand out.
Hamann did not modify the SUV's powertrain, in contrast to many other tuners of today. A twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 with 617 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque is standard equipment on the X5 M Competition out of the factory. With this, the 2.4-ton vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
Hamann's clothing has a big front splitter with built-in false intakes, side sill extensions, and an addition to the back bumper. The redesigned diffuser with red accents and the noticeably larger carbon-coated 115-mm quad tailpipes are the focal points of the rear end. Hamann added a rear spoiler extension, paying attention to the upper portion of the bodywork.
The multi-spoke 23-inch Anniversary Evo rims are available in black, graphite grey, or hyper silver. They are finished in glossy black with matching red accents on the ring. The 315/25R23 Continental Sport Contact 7 tires and the lowered springs by Hamann, which lower the ground clearance by 40 mm up front and 35 mm up the rear, will improve handling.
Inside, Hamann adorned the carbon fiber center console with a sizable red painted crest and a black logo on the steering wheel to clearly identify the vehicle as not being a stock BMW. Sports pedals, Hamann branding on the footrests, floormats, trunk, and LED puddle lights are additional interior modifications.
