The new Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition Geländewagen pickup is the most powerful yet. Brabus has launched this amazing pickup SUV, which will be offered in extremely limited quantities.
The 4.5-liter Biturbo V8 engine boasts an extensive list of hardware and software upgrades, resulting in a significant power improvement over the regular Mercedes-AMG G63. The 900 Rocket produces 888 horsepower and 1,050 Nm of torque, which is electrically restricted. Power is routed to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission and a permanent all-wheel-drive system.
Despite its massive weight of 2,720 kg, the Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition speeds from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
To protect the tires, the top speed is electronically limited to 280 km/h.
The braking system consists of vented and cross-drilled steel brake discs with 400 mm front and 370 mm rear diameters. The truck rides on a set of 24-inch one-piece Brabus Monobloc Z "Platinum Edition" forged wheels with carbon-fiber Aero-Discs.
Instead of the Adventure XLP's portal axles, the Rocket has an active Brabus RideControl aluminum coil over suspension for improved on-road handling and performance. Ride height is reduced by up to 45 mm compared to the stock G63, and damper firmness is adjustable via the cockpit.
Visually, the 800 Adventure XLP's long pickup body and the 900 Rocket SUV's lower chassis and performance stats are combined to create the P 900 Rocket Edition.
The latter's aggressive widebody kit has been modified to fit the truck's lengthier bodywork. The model still stands 2,055 mm tall for a dominating road presence despite the reduced suspension.
The substantial splitter's red fins complement the accents on the red-illuminated grille and the side gills, as well as the diffuser extensions. The wide fender flares with integrated inlets, the side-mounted exhaust pipes, the vented bonnet with a glass window display for the engine cover, and the custom rear bed with a steel floor and carbon bedsides are further highlights.
The Brabus Masterpiece treatment is applied to the four-seater cabin, which has upscale-appearing fine-leather upholstery throughout with "Seashell Diamond" stitching that contrasts with the "Rocket Red" decorations.
The front seatbacks have screens affixed to them, while the rear passengers get a 4.3-inch touch control panel. The seats are heated and ventilated. The liberal use of carbon fiber trim, ambient lighting, and lighted Brabus insignia are further features.
Ten examples of the new Brabus P 900 Rocket Edition will be produced in a limited quantity, with each one costing $640,806 before taxes.
