Ford, doesn’t want to leave the billboard. Every day a new news from Blue Oval. Again, its Ford Bronco which is on the social media. Is it Ford Raptor or Ford Warthog, we can not distinguish it exactly but what is for certain, is that this off-roader is flying. It is not a real spy shot, rather its again a part of fords marketing.
Although the standard model of Bronco won’t be available in markets by next spring but it seems that this company have unlimited plans for new Bronco. Till now there is no news of high-performance Bronco but even though, as it can be seen in this teaser, Ford will present a race-bred Bronco R for Baja.
Fundamentally, Ford has not developed high-speed off-road but also is developing a version of plug-and-play Raptor. But what should we name it? There is some rumors that ford wants to pick a new name for its extreme models. Ford trademarked Warthog with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Even still, the rumor is just that – the trademark states that it could literally be used for any non-commercial land vehicle Ford builds.
There is not much information about this new Raptor or Warthog. But the powertrain could be the same as Ford Explorer ST, twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 400 horsepower. There is another option of 2.7-liter V6 for Bronco too. But a V8? No way! Recently the company announce that they won’t consider a V8 engine for Bronco because of some troubles such as emission regulation.
By looking at this new car, it is easy to say that the suspension system of this car is unique but would be debuted with the regular SUV or not? We don’t have any Ideas. We should be patient as Bronco won’t be here in several month ahead.
