The Denza D9's initial production model had already left the factory earlier on October 21. The official delivery of the BYD Denza D9 began in China on October 25. The D9 is the first of three new Denza models to be released this year. Based on the moniker DENZA, the Denza series will release five additional goods in the future called the D, E, N, Z, and A.

The D9, which is positioned as an MPV, has dimensions of 5250mm long, 1960mm wide, 1920mm tall, and 3110mm in wheelbase. The EHS170 electric hybrid system, a 3-in-1 rear-drive hybrid assembly, and a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine are included in the hybrid variants. With 190km of pure electric range, up to 80kW DC rapid charging, and fuel usage as low as 6.2 liters per 100 km, hybrid models have a driving range of between 945 and 1040 km.

Black, dark and mid-blues, white, and pale yellow are the available colors.

The BEV models feature two DC charging connections that can be used simultaneously and have a maximum CLTC cruising range of 620km. With just 15 minutes of charge, a 230km cruise range may be reached at the maximum charging power of 166kW.

With 24 sensors throughout the car, including 5 millimeter-wave radars, 9 airbags, and 12 ultrasonic radars, the D9 features a level 2+ driver assistance system. In Tier-1 cities, autonomous parking and a find-my-car feature are allegedly feasible.

Seven displays are included in the interior: two are mounted on the front seatbacks, two are in the second-row armrests, and three are in the front (a 10.25-inch instrument panel, a 15.6-inch central control screen, and a heads-up display). Additionally, the second row passengers have access to the refrigerator located in the space in front of them. There is Karaoke for entertainment and a panoramic sunroof as well as wood and Nappa leather.

Seven variants are now for sale, with prices ranging from 48,200 USD to 67,800 USD. Only 99 of the ultra-luxury four-seat model's available units are priced at 88,400 USD.
