BYD Song L Pre-sale Has Started

Pre-sales for BYD's brand-new Song L fastback SUV started on October 31. Based on the e-Platform 3.0, the BYD Song L has a DiSus suspension system and CTB battery technology.

Based on the most recent Dragon Face design language, it measures 4840 mm long by 1950 mm wide by 1560 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2930 mm.

The rear single-motor model is available in low and high-power versions, 150 kW and 230 kW, respectively. The dual-motor model has a front and rear motor, with a combined power of 380 kW. The top speed is 201 km/h and the 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time is 4.3 seconds. Two Blade battery packs with 71.808 kWh and 87.04 kWh capacity are offered, providing 550 km, 602 km, and 662 km of cruising range.

According to the automaker, the front face has "dragon teeth" and "dragon whiskers." The rear features through-type taillights as well as an electric wing. The star-shaped rims, frameless doors, and hidden door handles are all prominent design aspects.

Song L

The interior is dark gray with a tinge of bright green and coated with suede. A 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, a massive 15.6-inch floating center control screen, and a 50-inch AR-HUD are all standard. The in-vehicle system is powered by the current generation of BYD's DiLink operating system and the DiPilot advanced driving assistance system, which supports more than 30 functions such as driver fatigue monitoring and automated parking.

Two cup holders, a 50W wireless charging station for mobile phones, and a crystal gear shifter are all located on the center console. In order to maximize storage capacity, the center console's bottom front portion is hollow.

Standard seating for the car's five occupants is provided by leather or suede upholstery. The front chairs also include electronic adjustments and ventilation and heating capabilities.

Expected to start at approximately 250,000 yuan (34,100 USD), the powertrains will be offered with a single or dual motor option.
