Cadillac and Barrett-Jackson have teamed up to offer a unique opportunity for automotive enthusiasts and philanthropists alike. This October, the first-ever production Cadillac Escalade IQ will be auctioned off at the Scottsdale Fall Auction. While the exact selling price remains a mystery, it's expected to significantly exceed the base price of $130,000. Notably, 100% of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Detroit Children's Fund, a charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in the Detroit area.

The Escalade IQ in question is a Sport 2 variant in Black Raven, a sleek black finish that complements its high-end, futuristic design. The vehicle’s exterior features a black crystal shield grille, which is a modern take on Cadillac’s signature grille, framed by vertical LED headlights. Aerodynamically optimized 24-inch wheels and a fixed glass roof contribute to its sleek and sophisticated appearance. Additionally, the Escalade IQ comes equipped with power doors and an eTrunk—a front trunk (frunk) that opens to reveal a spacious, carpeted compartment offering 345 liters of storage.

The model also offers an Executive Second-Row Seating package, which adds even more luxury to the rear seats. This package includes 14-way power seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, as well as two 12.6-inch displays, a rear command center, stowable tray tables, and dual wireless smartphone chargers, providing a first-class experience for rear passengers.

In terms of performance, the Escalade IQ is equipped with a 200+ kWh battery, offering an impressive range of approximately 740 kilometers—16 kilometers more than initial estimates. The vehicle’s dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivers 680 horsepower and 834 Nm of torque, with an increase to 750 hp and 1,063 Nm in Velocity Max mode. Advanced technologies such as Super Cruise, Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, adaptive air ride suspension, and four-wheel steering, including an Arrival Mode for diagonal movement, further enhance its driving capabilities.
