After a long time, Cadillac finally introduced the European version of the XT4 with a diesel engine.
Buyers will have a choice to choose between a 2.0-liter turbo diesel and 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engines. The diesel unit pumps out 172 hp and 381 nm of torque and can cover Euro6 emission standards. This new engine is connected to a 9-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels but buyers have a chance to order an AWD system as an extra-cost option. The 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline unit pumps out 227 hp and 350 nm of torque and is connected to a 9-speed transmission as standard.
The European Cadillac XT4 also comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, power seats, seat heaters, heated steering wheel, and power tailgate.
On the limited Cadillac Launch Edition buyers also receive some extra options like the rear camera, surround-vision camera, automatic parking assist, 8-inch CUE information, integrated 3D navigation, adaptive cruise control and, a full-color HUD system.
On the safety side, Cadillac XT4 comes standard with traffic sign recognition, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, safety alert seat, cross-traffic alert, and safety alert seat.
Pricing for Cadillac XT4 starts from $41,830 for the base front-wheel-drive model and ends at $54,950 for the Launch Edition Sport version.
