The upcoming Q05 SUV will be sold under the Qiyuan new energy vehicle brand, and Changan has officially unveiled the official images. Qiyuan's first SUV, the Q05, is anticipated to hit the market soon.
Changan introduced the Qiyuan brand on August 27. Qiyuan products include the A, Q, and E0 series in terms of product planning. As of right now, the brand's Qiyuan A05 and A07 are its two available cars.
The Qiyuan Q05, positioned as a compact SUV, has dimensions of 4539 mm in length, 1865 mm in width, 1680 mm in height, and 2656 mm in wheelbase. The car has chrome trim strip decorated windows, blackened exterior mirrors, traditional door handles, and five-spoke aluminum alloy rims from the side.
The interior of the cockpit carries over the third-generation Changan CS55 Plus's design layout. It comes in gray and brown hues. It is anticipated to come with a flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel, a 12.3-inch central control touch screen, and a 10-inch full LCD instrument panel.
In addition, full-speed range adaptive cruise control, an electric tailgate, and heated front seats are anticipated to be features of the premium models.
The 1.5L naturally aspirated engine (JL473Q5) and electric motor are combined with a ternary lithium battery pack to form the plug-in hybrid powertrain. The engine and motor have a maximum power of 81 kW and 140 kW, respectively. 5.3 liters of fuel are used in total every 100 kilometers.
There are two different capacities for the battery packs: 9.07 kWh and 18.99 kWh. While the 18.99 kWh battery pack offers 125 km of pure electric cruising range and 1,215 km of comprehensive range (CLTC), the 9.07 kWh battery pack offers 60 km of pure electric cruising range and 1,150 km of CLTC.
