Chelsea Truck Introduces Upgrade Kits For Land Rover Defender

Chelsea Truck Company has unveiled a wide bodykit for the new-generation Land Rover Defender, which includes a carbon wide-body conversion designed by Kahn and customized interiors for both the 90 and 110 models.

The front and rear fender add-ons, which make the SUV seem more aggressive while hiding the big wheels, are the kit's centerpiece. The bumper, grille, and side vents all have similar embellishments, continuing the concept all around the vehicle. The conventional Land Rover symbol has been replaced by Kahn writing on the bonnet and a Chelsea Truck Co. spare wheel cover.

Chelsea Truck picked the Type 57 RS forged alloy wheels for the 90, while the five-spoke 22-inch Mondial Retro light-alloy wheels were chosen for the 110. M/T tires are mounted on both rims, which are connected by broad mudflaps. Finally, the quad exhaust pipes protruding from the back end reflect the build's athletic personality.

A panoramic glass roof, heated seats, 360-degree cameras, the standard infotainment touchscreen, and a digital instrument panel are all standard features.

The modification is available for any Defender powerplant, including the top-of-the-line V8, and the cars for sale are built to the P300 standard. This implies they have a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 296 horsepower and an eight-speed automated transmission.

The short-wheelbase variant has a Volcanic Rock Satin Paint exterior and Red Designo leather inside, while the long-wheelbase model has a Black Satin exterior and Volcanic Orange leather interior, with a Santorini Black roof on both.

The depicted Defender 90 will set you back $155,223, while the Defender 110 will set you back $148,487. According to Kahn's website, the upgrades raise the list price of the Defender 90 by $47,236 and the Defender 110 by $67,480.
