An updated version of Chery's Arrizo 5 GT model has been released. Based on the Arrizo 5, the initial Arrizo 5 GT was introduced in China in September 2022. It is an Arrizo 5 sports edition with a 1.6T turbocharged engine.
The new vehicle has dimensions of 4710 mm in length, 1829 mm in width, 1490 mm in height, and a 2670 mm wheelbase. It now has new LED headlights, a sizable X-shaped front grille, and dynamic turn signals. The front and back of the car are also covered in the GT logo. The new vehicle also features two exhaust pipes, one on each side.
The orange accents on the steering wheel, center console, and outlets for the air conditioning are striking inside. The car also boasts a heated front seat and a steering wheel that can be adjusted in four different directions.
The 20.5-inch dual-screen infotainment system has a full LCD gauge panel and a central control screen. Speech recognition, an electronic gear handle, and wireless phone charging are other automobile amenities.
AEB emergency braking, BSD all-weather high-precision blind spot monitoring, LCA vehicle lane change safety alert, and RCTA rear cross-warning are just a few of the safety features available on the Chery Arrizo 5 GT. The car has a C-NCAP rating of five stars.
ACC full-speed adaptive cruise, LKA lane maintenance system, SLA speed limit identification monitoring, and active alert features are all included in the Chery Arrizo 5 GT's L2+ class driving assistant system.
The motor is where Chery's new car has undergone the most substantial upgrade. 115 kW and 230 Nm of torque may be produced by the new Arrizo 5 GT's 1.5T engine. This is coupled with a CVT transmission. Moreover, a 1.6T engine is only offered in the highest grade. This variant generates 145 kW and 290 Nm of torque when coupled with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The new version, which is less expensive than the current version, is offered in 4 trim levels with prices ranging from $11,590 to $15,950.
