Chery's premium brand, Exeed, has unveiled its latest offering, the Exlantix ET (or Sterra ET in China), a range-extender SUV. This new model comes in three trim levels: Max, Ultra, and Premium, priced between 239,800 and 289,800 yuan.
The Exlantix ET boasts a sleek and futuristic design, with a closed front end featuring a full-width light bar and an Exeed logo. The rear end maintains the through-type taillight design and a hidden exhaust layout. The vehicle rides on 20-inch multi-spoke wheels and offers two new exterior colors: gray and purple.
Inside, the cabin is equipped with a host of advanced features, including a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip. Both front and rear seats are equipped with ventilation, heating, and massage functions, with the co-pilot seat offering a zero-gravity reclining feature. The car also features a panoramic sunroof, a voice assistant, a premium sound system, ambient lighting, remote control, and over-the-air updates.
A key highlight of the Exlantix ET is its advanced driver-assistance system, Falcon Smart Driving. This system utilizes 30 sensors and dual NVIDIA Orin-X chips to enable features like highway navigation assist, city navigation assist, and autonomous parking, without relying on high-definition maps.
Powering the Exlantix ET is a 1.5T range extender paired with dual electric motors and a 41.16 kWh battery pack. The combined output is impressive, with the system delivering 462 horsepower and 634 Nm of torque. This translates to a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of just 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 195 km/h.
The battery pack, supplied by Gotion High-tech, offers a claimed CLTC range of 1,500 kilometers, with 240 kilometers of pure electric range. The vehicle supports 400V fast charging, allowing it to charge from 20% to 80% in just 17.5 minutes.
The Exlantix ET represents a significant step forward for Chery's Exeed brand, offering a compelling combination of luxury, technology, and performance. With its advanced features, impressive range, and powerful drivetrain, the Exlantix ET is poised to compete with established players in the premium SUV segment.
