One of the most significant additions is the range-topping SS model, which is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2025 for $61,995. Despite a slight delay, the SS is worth the wait, as its dual-motor all-wheel drive system now delivers a substantial boost in power and torque. Output has increased from 557 horsepower and 878 Nm of torque to 595 horsepower and 874 Nm of torque, allowing the electric crossover to accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.

For those seeking a more affordable option, Chevrolet has introduced a new entry-level model with front-wheel drive. Priced at $45,995, this base model features a motor that generates 220 horsepower and 329 Nm of torque. While specific details are still forthcoming, Chevrolet has confirmed that it will be available for ordering soon.

The Blazer EV AWD is also returning with a price reduction of $1,200, starting at $48,995. The dual-motor all-wheel drive system in this model now produces 300 horsepower and 481 Nm of torque, representing an increase of 12 horsepower and 30 Nm. Additionally, the range has been extended from 449 km to 455 km.

The rear-wheel drive variant of the Blazer EV has seen a price increase of $1,395, starting at $56,990. However, this increase is accompanied by a boost in performance. The crossover now develops 365 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque, an improvement of 25 horsepower compared to the previous year's model. The range has also increased by 16 km to 538 km.

Both the rear- and all-wheel drive variants of the Blazer EV are currently available for order and are eligible for a federal tax credit of up to $7,500. In addition to the performance enhancements, the 2025 Blazer EV offers several other updates, including new Midnight and Sport packages for the LT trim. The Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system is now standard on the SS model and optional on the LT and RS AWD trims. Customers can also choose from a new two-tone roof option for the LT and RS trims.
