Stellantis has invested on many automakers. It has already 14 brands under its shelter, and also is developing the new ways to the future electrified cars. Stellantis with all its history, has Chrysler too. And by the eventful Stellantis EV Day 2021 Chrysler revealed its new electric wonder.
By the Event, Dodge showed a muscle car with single teaser, and also Ram the electric off roader was there too. But Chrysler presented something partly new. Its not hard to find many similarities of this vehicle with the previous Airflow Vision concept introduced at CES, last year.
It seems, there are some major upgrades and changes on the Airflow Vision. The significant changes are the very exclusive Chrysler doors with pop-out handles and the side mirrors. Some lines and curves in copper color around doors and also by the wheels, made big differences. By the way, its just a prototype and can be changes any time needed.
The Airflow Vision, has a very today’s interior, also the steering wheel and the panoramic glass roof are so noticeable. Although its just some Rendering, but you can feel the seats already. The light orange trims on the seats are also so set with the exterior too. Still, has many things to be judged inside.
About the very technical details we don’t know many things yet. What we know is that, this Airflow Vision is going on the production line with one of Stellantis' new EV-focused platforms. During this show, Ralph Gilles stated some information about the STLA Large platform, which promises to enable a maximum range of 500 miles (800 kilometers).
If this statement be true and comes to reality, that means Chrysler will have the STLA Large to adopt its cars with. Its not going to happen so soon. During 3 to 5 years, there will be eight EVs on this platform, and Chrysler is one of them.
