Farizon Auto, a subsidiary of Geely, is set to disrupt the electric van market with the launch of its new SV model. This innovative electric van is designed specifically to meet the needs of European fleets and is scheduled to hit the UK market in the first half of 2025.

The Farizon SV boasts a modern interior, featuring a large infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster. While the cabin maintains a functional and utilitarian design, it offers essential features for drivers. The inclusion of a center front seat adds flexibility for additional passengers or storage.

Under the hood, the SV utilizes a cutting-edge modular architecture with cell-to-pack battery technology. This innovative approach enhances battery capacity by 10%, improves body rigidity by 20%, and reduces overall weight by 4%. Buyers will have the option to choose from 67 kWh and 83 kWh battery packs at launch, with a larger 106 kWh battery to follow later. Additionally, the SV will be available in three different lengths and three body heights, providing flexibility to cater to diverse business needs.

One of the standout features of the Farizon SV is its dual-redundancy drive-by-wire system for steering and braking. This technology not only improves stopping distances and steering response but also contributes to increased load capacity and reduced weight. The SV is expected to offer load capacities ranging from 1,100 kg to 1,300 kg, and cargo capacities from 6.9 cubic meters to 13 cubic meters.
