Ford unveiled the all-new Bronco in July 2020, and the company has now released all of the vehicle's mechanical requirements. According to the SAE J1349 standard, the first model's 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder turbo produces 300 horsepower and 441 Nm of torque by using premium petrol. If you use 87-octane diesel, those numbers fall to 275 horsepower and 427 Nm. The twin-turbocharged V6 in the 2.7-liter EcoBoost six-cylinder engine produces 330 or 315 hp and 563 or 556 Nm of torque.

The four-cylinder engine differs from the six-cylinder engine in terms of engine block content, such as cast aluminum alloy versus compacted graphite iron. In the case of the seven-speed manual with a crawler gear, the basic 4x4 system has a ratio of 79.91:1 and the specialized 4x4 system has a ratio of 94.75:1. Customers who favor the 10-speed automatic would accept marginally less violent ratios of 57.19:1 and 67.80:1.

Dana has all axles independent of orientation when it comes to suspension parts. Lesser models have an AdvanTEK M190 independent front suspension and a Dana 44 AdvanTEK M220 rigid rear axle, while off-road variants have an M210 with a Spicer Performa-TraK electronic locker and an M220 with the same electronic locker as the M210.

Suspension travel has also been reported for the Bronco Base at 202 and 249 millimeters and the Bronco Badlands at 222 and 259 millimeters. Meanwhile, fuel volume is available in two sizes: 16.9 gallons and 20.8 gallons.

The two-door Base with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost and seven-speed manual has a base curb weight of 1,944 kilograms. The four-door Badlands with the 2.7-liter EcoBoost and auto is the heaviest of the bunch, weighing in at 2,321 kilograms.
