The third generation of the Ford Everest, launched in 2022, is now offering enhanced off-road capabilities with its new Tremor version. This model pushes the Everest closer to the high-performance Raptor, although Ford has not yet released a Raptor variant for this SUV. The Everest Tremor has been outfitted with several performance-enhancing features. Ford has integrated Bilstein’s position-sensitive dampers, which are part of a reworked suspension system that also includes new springs. Additionally, the Everest Tremor is equipped with all-weather floor mats, dual-zone climate control, and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat. Since it is based on the local Sport trim level, it comes with a decent array of features as standard.
Under the hood, the Everest Tremor remains unchanged from other variants, utilizing the same 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine that produces 247 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. This engine configuration is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission that channels power to a four-wheel-drive system, providing the vehicle with a robust and versatile performance profile. The SUV is capable of towing up to 7,716 pounds with a braked trailer, making it suitable for a variety of heavy-duty tasks.
While the Ranger Tremor, on which the Everest is based, features a four-cylinder engine in Australia, the Everest Tremor is exclusively offered with the more powerful V6 engine. This SUV version also offers unique features not available on the truck variant, such as the exclusive Command Grey paint job and the Rock Crawl mode. Buyers can further customize their Everest Tremor with optional packages like Rough Terrain, Touring, Premium, and Towing, though these add-ons will increase the price beyond the base model.
The Ford Everest Tremor is priced at 76,590 AUD in Australia, which is roughly $51,700 based on current exchange rates. This makes it about $5,500 cheaper than the base Ranger Raptor sold in the same market.
