The Ford Mustang Mach-E is entering its third model year with a series of updates designed to keep it competitive in the electric SUV market. While the changes may not be dramatic, they offer a number of improvements that enhance both the vehicle's functionality and appeal.
One of the notable additions for 2025 is a newly standard heat pump. This feature helps to optimize energy consumption in cold climates, improving the vehicle's range and efficiency. For those seeking a sportier look, the Mustang Mach-E Premium trim is now available with a new Sport Appearance Package. This package borrows elements from the Mustang Mach-E GT, including a revised front fascia and grille, 19-inch gloss black wheels, black accents, and red Brembo front brake calipers. Inside, the Sport Appearance Package adds sport pedals and red contrast stitching for a more aggressive feel.
The Premium trim also receives additional upgrades, such as ventilated front seats for added comfort. All 2025 Mustang Mach-E models feature a new column-mounted shifter, replacing the previous center console-mounted dial.
In terms of technology, the 2025 Mustang Mach-E introduces the Ford Connectivity Package, which includes a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, connected navigation, and in-vehicle apps. These apps offer a wide range of features, from YouTube to karaoke, enhancing the overall driving experience.
The 2025 Mustang Mach-E also benefits from the latest version of Ford's BlueCruise driver-assist technology, BlueCruise 1.5. This system now includes an Automatic Lane Change function that automatically initiates lane changes when appropriate. Ford claims that BlueCruise 1.5 can automate up to 45% of driver-initiated lane changes, reducing the driver's workload and improving the overall driving experience.
Finally, the 2025 Mustang Mach-E offers a revised color palette with three new options: Desert Sand, Velocity Blue Metallic, and Molten Magenta Metallic Tinted Clearcoat. Additionally, customers can choose from three new wheel designs, including a Dark Carbonized Gray option for the Mustang Mach-E Rally.
The entry-level Ford Mustang Mach-E will be more affordable for 2025, starting at $36,495. This represents a $3,500 price reduction compared to the 2024 Mach-E Select. The updated Mustang Mach-E is expected to arrive at dealerships in early 2025. Detailed pricing information for the remaining trim levels, including the destination charge, will be released closer to the launch date.
