Ford has expanded its lineup of Transit Custom Nugget campers in Europe with the introduction of a new rugged variant and a long-wheelbase version. These additions are set to be showcased at the Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf, Germany, from August 30 to September 8. Developed in collaboration with camper conversion specialist Westfalia, the new models offer enhanced versatility and style for those seeking adventure and comfort on the road.

The new Active version adds a touch of flair and ruggedness to the Ford camper range. It is built on the foundation of the existing Titanium model but comes with a variety of design upgrades. These include a redesigned grille, black plastic rocker panels, and black exterior cladding, which give the camper a more robust appearance. The Active version also features distinctive 17-inch machined alloy wheels and LED taillights, contributing to a modern and aggressive look that stands out from the standard model.
Inside, the Ford Transit Custom Nugget campers have been enhanced with several special features to improve comfort and functionality. Customers can opt for the Transit Custom Nugget Active with an all-wheel-drive system, paired with a 168 hp EcoBlue diesel engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission, offering a balance of power and efficiency.
The new long-wheelbase version of the Transit Custom Nugget is available in both Titanium and Active variants. This extended wheelbase provides additional interior space, allowing for a larger kitchen area with more countertop space and increased storage for pans, utensils, and other essentials.
