Geely unveiled the Cao Cao 60, the first car under the new Cao Cao Auto brand. The vehicle is made by another Geely brand, Maple, and is designed for Geely's ride-hailing company. It has swappable batteries and a 415 km CLTC range. The starting price is $17,500.
According to Cao Cao Auto, the 60 has been extensively adapted for ride-hailing and has a verified, extremely extended service life of 600,000 km. It is estimated that the battery switch will take 60 seconds.
The vehicle has two small LCD screens—one in front of the copilot and one in the back—and anti-motion sickness technology. There are 500 liters of boot space.
Cao Cao Mobility formerly used electric vehicles from Ruilan Auto and another Geely brand, Geometry, before introducing its own specialized on-demand transportation auto brand. The Geometry A sedan, with a 600 km range, and the Ruilan Maple 80V MPV from Ruilan Auto, with battery-swapping capabilities, were the main models chosen.
More technical details will be announced in the future.
