The MX-5 Geshi is a unique special edition roadster created in collaboration with Gisele Racing, a Brussels-based company known for its expertise in performance vehicles. This version of the iconic Mazda MX-5 is distinguished by its exclusive design elements, custom accessories, and modifications to the chassis, making it a one-of-a-kind offering. The introduction of the Geshi pays tribute to the now-discontinued 2.0-liter MX-5 models in Europe, giving enthusiasts a final opportunity to experience the power and performance of this beloved engine.

Inspired by the summer solstice, the Geshi will be produced in an extremely limited run of just 24 units. This number is a symbolic reference to the 24 seasonal periods, or "Sekki," of the traditional Japanese solar calendar. The release of the Geshi marks the beginning of a series of limited-production models from this dealership, with the next model, the Shubun, set to be released in honor of the autumn equinox. These limited-edition models are designed to celebrate both the heritage of the MX-5 and key moments in the natural world, blending Japanese tradition with modern automotive innovation.

The exterior design of the MX-5 Geshi is one of its most striking features. It sports an exclusive paint color reminiscent of the classic British Racing Green used in the original NA Miata models. This nostalgic hue is complemented by white, black, and yellow stripes, which add a dynamic touch to the roadster’s appearance. In addition, the yellow brake calipers, visible behind the sleek black BBS alloy wheels, further enhance the car's sporty aesthetic. The sand-colored canvas roof and cream leather interior complete the bespoke design, giving the vehicle a luxurious yet sporty feel.

The customization of the MX-5 Geshi doesn’t stop with aesthetics. Each unit comes with bespoke accessories that include a custom GMT Chronographs watch, vintage-style leather driving gloves, and personalized key holders. These high-end accessories emphasize the exclusivity and attention to detail that come with this special edition.

On the performance front, Gisele Racing has made significant enhancements to the MX-5 Geshi’s chassis to improve driving dynamics. The roadster is equipped with BBS wheels fitted with Uniroyal run-flat tires, Bilstein shock absorbers, Eibach lowering springs, a strut bar, and a Bastuck sport exhaust. Additionally, Mazda’s own aerodynamic package has been incorporated to further boost performance. Under the hood, the 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G engine delivers 181 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque, mirroring the specifications of the US version of the MX-5. This engine, which is no longer available in Europe, makes the Geshi one of the last opportunities for Belgian customers to own a 2.0-liter MX-5.

Priced at €52,990, the MX-5 Geshi commands a significant premium over the standard model, which starts at €31,790 in Belgium. This higher price reflects the vehicle’s limited production, exclusive design, and the inclusion of the discontinued 2.0-liter engine, offering buyers a unique combination of style, performance, and rarity.
