GMC Unveils the 2025 Sierra EV Denali Pricing

GMC has recently announced significant updates to its electric pickup truck, the Sierra EV Denali, for the 2025 model year. Following the recent upgrades to the Chevrolet Silverado EV, GMC has now revealed its own enhancements to its electric offering.

One of the most notable changes is the introduction of two new battery pack options: Extended Range and Max Range. The Extended Range battery pack offers an estimated range of 628 kilometers, while the Max Range battery pack boasts a GM-estimated range of 740 kilometers. This effectively bridges the gap between the previous model's estimated range of 708 kilometers.

In addition to the battery improvements, the 2025 Sierra EV Denali also receives a slight increase in power. The output has been raised from an estimated 754 horsepower to 760 horsepower, while the torque remains unchanged at 1,063 Newton-meters.

GMC has also lowered the starting price for the Extended Range battery pack from $99,495 to $91,995. However, the Max Range variant still commands a premium price, starting at $100,495. It's worth noting that these prices include a destination fee, which has increased from $1,995 to $2,095 for the 2025 model year.

While the Sierra EV Denali may not be the most affordable electric pickup truck on the market, GMC has plans to expand the lineup with the addition of Elevation and AT4 trims early next year. These trims were previewed in 2022 and are expected to feature unique front fascias and reduced equipment levels.

Among these trims, the AT4 is particularly intriguing. GMC has previously indicated that the AT4 will offer an additional 2 inches of ground clearance, along with 18-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch all-terrain tires. Other features expected to be available on the AT4 include Super Cruise, 4-Wheel Steer, CrabWalk, and a spray-on bedliner.

Overall, the 2025 GMC Sierra EV Denali represents a significant step forward for electric pickup trucks. With its enhanced range, increased power, and expanded trim options, GMC is offering consumers a compelling choice in the growing electric vehicle market.
