Great Wall Motor's Wey brand has unveiled its latest plug-in hybrid SUV, the Wey 07, designed specifically for international markets. This model closely mirrors the Wey Lanshan, which is already available in China.

Externally, the Wey 07 shares the same dimensions as its domestic counterpart: 5156mm in length, 1980mm in width, and 1805mm in height with a 3050mm wheelbase. While both models feature a similar overall design, the Wey 07 distinguishes itself with a unique 20-inch rim style and forgoes the Canglangqing exterior paint and roof lidar offered on the Wey Lanshan Intelligent Driving Edition.

Inside the cockpit, the Wey 07 boasts a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 14.6-inch central control screen. Unlike the domestic version, it lacks a co-pilot entertainment screen and incorporates physical buttons beneath the central control screen. The steering wheel design remains consistent with the standard Wey Lanshan DHT-PHEV, and the Wey 07 offers additional features such as steering wheel heating, three-zone air conditioning, a 16-speaker audio system, and advanced driver assistance technologies like automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane keep assist.

The interior layout of the Wey 07 features a 2+2+2 six-seater configuration, mirroring the domestic model. Both the first and second-row seats are equipped with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, while the second-row seats also include a convenient small table.

Under the hood, the Wey 07 is powered by a plug-in hybrid system comprising a 1.5T engine and dual electric motors. This setup delivers a combined power output of 517 horsepower and a total torque of 930 Nm, comparable to the domestic version. The Wey 07 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 190 km/h. The 42.5 kWh battery pack provides an NEDC pure electric cruising range of 201 km.

2025 Wey 07

Great Wall Motor has announced that pre-orders for the Wey 07 will commence on September 13, with the official launch scheduled for October 7. For reference, the Wey Lanshan Intelligent Driving Edition is currently priced between 299,800 and 326,800 yuan (approximately $42,300 to $46,100) in China.
