Hennessey Gives Dodge Hellcat 1000 HP

For nine exhausting years, Dodge has been producing Charger and Challenger models with Hellcat engines. As the name suggests, Hennessey enhancements let these vehicles to produce up to 1,000 horsepower and 1,285 Nm of torque.

With the introduction of its new H1000 "Last Stand" kits for the two vehicles, Hennessey is bringing the current generation Charger and Challenger to an elegant close. Both the Charger and Challenger H1000 Last Stand variants can accelerate to 96 km/h in 2.8 seconds and down the quarter-mile in 9.9 seconds at 227 km/h. Hennessey has also given the couple some stylistic improvements, but unlike some of its other inventions, the design changes are fairly mild.

Larger supercharger, improved fuel injectors, high-flow induction system, modified pulley, stainless-steel long tube headers, high-flow catalytic converters, and crankcase ventilation system are all responsible for Hennessey's performance gains.

The new carbon fiber rear spoiler, side skirts, front splitter, and rear diffuser are standard on the H1000 Last Stand variants. Additionally, Hennessey will provide both models with unique graphics and 20-inch alloy wheels in gloss black or graphite. There will be a 50-unit maximum production limit for the Charger and Challenger, and each model will have a plaque with its unique serial number.

Only the Charger and Challenger models from 2021–2023 are eligible for the H1000 Last Stand enhancements, which are backed by a 3-year/ 36,000-mile guarantee for each vehicle. The costs have not been disclosed.
