Carlex Design has recently elevated its customization expertise to unprecedented heights with its exclusive One of One projects, focusing on bespoke Mercedes-Benz G-Wagons. These unique creations are not just vehicles—they are masterpieces that combine luxury, artistry, and cultural heritage. Each project under the One of One banner is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, resulting in G-Wagons that are both rare and opulent.
Bringing one of these custom creations to life is no small feat. Carlex Design dedicates approximately 18 months to complete each bespoke project, ensuring every detail meets the highest standards of craftsmanship. One of the company’s most remarkable achievements is the G-Falcon, a one-off masterpiece unveiled last year and recently delivered to its proud owner in the United Arab Emirates. The G-Falcon pays homage to the rich tradition of falconry in the Arab world, an ancient practice deeply embedded in the region’s culture. Its exterior finish is designed to shimmer under the desert sun, reflecting both elegance and heritage. The standout feature is its roof, which showcases a hand-carved and painted mural of a falcon, crafted by one of Carlex’s most skilled artisans. Inside, the cabin exudes sophistication with deep maroon leather, black Alcantara, and intricate detailing on the center console and door panels.
Another exceptional creation from Carlex’s One of One series is the G-Class Nuri. This bespoke model draws inspiration from the rich cultural history of Uzbekistan. Its exterior is painted in a striking shade of blue, enriched with real sapphire dust, giving it a dazzling, gemstone-like sparkle. The roof features traditional Uzbek mosaics, adding a touch of historic artistry to modern automotive design. The interior is equally captivating, with a luxurious blend of blue and white leather, accented by golden details that enhance its regal aesthetic.
Carlex’s creativity doesn’t stop there. One of its latest additions to the collection is the Yellow Dragon, a G-Wagon inspired by Chinese mythology. This vehicle celebrates the legendary Yellow Dragon, a symbol of strength, power, prosperity, and success in Chinese culture. The roof boasts a meticulously painted and engraved dragon mural, making it a standout not just in Asia, but globally. Its intricate design and cultural symbolism set it apart from any other G-Class on the road.
One of Carlex’s earliest One of One projects was the G-Class Steampunk, revealed in early 2020. This unique vehicle showcases over 5,000 hours of craftsmanship, featuring an extraordinary blend of metal and wood throughout its construction. The Steampunk G-Wagon is a testament to Carlex Design’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of automotive art, creating vehicles that are as much about storytelling as they are about luxury.
