The beloved Jaguar is the master of making beautiful high-quality cars. Just when you are about to fall in love with them, the ugly truth hits you like a meteor! Most of them are “something” Edition and only a few units of them will be made, so you probably will never get one. Unfortunately, the new Jaguar F-Type Reims Edition is one those models and has the same story!
The cabin and its Ebony black leather covers are the most beautiful parts of this Jaguar. The black leather is paired with Interior Black Pack as it comes with glossy finishes on the door handles, switches, instrument cluster top covers and some other parts.
The Climate Pack offers features like two-zone climate control, heated windshield along with heated steering wheel.
The P300 trim level is equipped with 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The powertrain is ready to generate 296 HP and 400 Nm of torque. According to Jaguar, the vehicle can hit 100 km/h in less than 6 seconds (5.7 seconds). The top speed is 20 km/h (155 miles).
The story of the P450 version is different. This one comes with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine that produces 444 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. It can reach 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds (almost 10 seconds less than the P300) and the top speed is 285 km/h. Now you can see why you have to pay an extra 17.000 bucks for the latter.
Since only 150 units of the model will be produced, you do the math and see how expensive it is going to be! The P300 costs $80,095 (£58,950) and the P450 RWD R-Dynamic’s price is $97,079 (£71,450). The Jaguar F-Type Reims Edition is limited to the UK market and it will be kept away from rest of the world. The lucky buyers can pre-order the model and get their car in March.
